Another Lower Bucks Bank Robbed, Police Surround Empty Apartment
Is Bucks County becoming the bank robbery capital of Pennsylvania? According to the Courier-Times, the Citizen’s Bank at Middletown’s 413 and New Falls Road intersection was robbed this morning. The Lower Southampton Fulton Bank was robbed yesterday. There have been several other bank robberies in the area as well.
Apparently unrelated, police from several local departments and county officials descended on a nearby apartment building to protect residents from a suicidal gun-wielding man reportedly barricaded inside who, as it turns out, was at work at the time and apparently neither suicidal nor armed.
I feel safe. Maybe it’s time to descend on the banks and leave the empty apartments undefended.

Financial market expert Jim Cramer of CNBC’s Mad Money relayed information he’s heard indicating that the steep stock market plunges we’ve seen in recent weeks could be the result of “financial terrorism.”
Obama Supporters Were Already “Getting In Their Faces”
The street agitator Obamessiah exhorted true believers to “argue with” deniers of “The One’s” greatness and “get in their faces.” It seems the fans of the Chicago thug didn’t need his explicit words to carry out the actions he implied. There had already been some community organization going on in Muncie, Indiana.
MUNCIE — A vandal who apparently plans to vote for Barack Obama attacked the Delaware County Republican Party Headquarters sometime this week with a gold spray can.
The vandal, or vandals, left behind graffiti reading “McCain? Seriously?” underscored by a depiction of a hand gesturing with its middle finger on the western wall of the headquarters.
A Republican Headquarters sign that was leaning against the same wall was tagged with three symbols that closely resemble the round Obama campaign sign.
The vandalism was discovered Wednesday.
Joe Biden: Paying Higher Taxes is Patriotic [Video]
Joe Biden is taking some flack for saying that paying higher taxes is “patriotic” during an interview with Good Morning America, and the McCain campaign is making hay with a new advertisement. The GMA appearance wasn’t the first time Biden has made this strange claim, though. He used the line while answering a question during a campaign appearance in Sarasota, Florida earlier this month to a delighted response from the anti-success crowed in attendance.
Guess what, Joe. Class warfare rhetoric that works in your ultra-liberal bubble usually doesn’t play well among normal people.

Fighting Smears: Palin Was A Bircher, Or John Birch Society Member
Lefty blogs are going apoplectic over a 1995 photo released to the Associated Press by the family of Governor Sarah Palin. The photo shows Palin as a Wasilla City Council member sitting with a three-ring binder that appears to include an unopened copy of The New American, the John Birch Society’s magazine.
As explained by a Palin spokesperson to Politico, the binder includes information regularly given to Wasilla City Council members by residents through the town clerk.
John Birch Society President John McManus reveals to Politico that the issue of the publication depicted in the photo was sent to “county commissioners, mayors, state legislators, local officials” by the thousands.

Add disgraced former Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines to the “thousands of people” Barack Obama kind of sort of knows but absolutely has no ties to.
Two months ago, the Washington Post revealed that Raines was advising the Obama campaign, taking calls from the campaign when they were “seeking his advice on mortgage and housing policy matters,” to no protest from the campaign. Now that it’s come to light just how deeply into Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s pockets Obama was, and how complicit he and the other Democrats in Congress were in the situations that caused the two mortgage giants to collapse on themselves, John McCain released an ad about the relationship and Obama quickly denied the Post’s two-month-old report.
Lower Southampton Bank Robbed
A gunman armed with a silver semi-automatic robbed the Fulton Bank on Street Road in Lower Southampton Township this afternoon before fleeing in a white Ford pickup truck.
The suspect is a white male with a tall, thin build. He has dirty blond hair and a mustache. He was wearing a dark baseball hat, sunglasses, a black v-neck type pullover, a windbreaker and jeans.
Police are asking anyone who recognizes the man in the picture to call them at 215-357-1235.
