Murtha: You’ve Got A Racist Friend In Western Pennsylvania

Troop-hating unindicted ABSCAM co-conspirator Democrat Congressman John Murtha says western Pennsylvania – apparently all of it – is a “racist area.”

“I think Obama is going to win, but I don’t think it’s going to be a runaway,” he said. “I think he wins Pennsylvania.”

Mr. Murtha said it has taken time for the state’s voters embrace a black presidential candidate.

“There’s no question Western Pennsylvania is a racist area,” said Mr. Murtha, whose district stretches from Johnstown to Washington County. “The older population is more hesitant.”

Hmmmm.  Murtha is 76 years old and resides in the western Pennsylvania city of Johnstown.

Murtha’s challenger is Bill Russell.

Will Tonight’s Debate Only Discuss Economy and War?

We’ve had two Presidential debates and one Vice-Presidential debate spanning 4.5 hours of air time and have, so far, only basically discussed the current economic trouble, socialized medicine and the War on Terror.

It’s no secret that the media is letting the electorate down in 2008.  They have, for the most part, abandoned the American people to jump on board the Obama bandwagon, leaving reason and fairness in the dust.

Tonight’s debate, at the Obama campaign’s behest, is being framed as “John McCain’s last chance.” Down in the polls and being drowned out by the mainstream media, it may well be.

More so, however, tonight is the left-stream media’s last chance to prove that they are capable of performing their duty as the 4th branch of the US Government. And, after the abject failure of Jim Lehrer, Gwen Ifill and Tom Brokaw to do so, it is upon CBS “journalist” Bob Schieffer’s shoulders whether or not the media emerges from the evening with any sliver of credibility.

Will life issues be raised tonight, or are they off limits due to Obama’s abmoninable record?  How about gun issues? Obama’s questionable past and present alliances with terrorists and radicals?

Here are a couple more questions that would be asked by an objective media.

“Senator Obama, we seem to know everything about John McCain’s life but have heard almost nothing about your time at Columbia except that you sat in the library. Care to elaborate?”

“Senator Obama, what assurances can you give the public that you can actually accomplish any of the proposals you’ve outlined, as you’ve never accomplished any significant policy changes in the past.”

“Senator Obama, in 2004 your Trinity Church attendance was described as, ‘the 11 a.m. Sunday service at Trinity in the Brainerd neighborhood every week.’ Do you really expect us to believe you heard none of the anti-American or bigoted statements of your pastor, who has also been described as your ‘close confidant’?”

“Senator Obama, you’ve described Iran both as a ‘tiny country and not a serious threat‘ and also ‘a grave threat.’ Which is it, and why the change between the two postitions in just a few days?”

“Senator Obama, why did you give Kenyan despot Ralia Odinga over a million dollars and campaign for him on the taxpayer dime?”

Alleged Phone Call From Angry Michelle Making Waves

I read the description of an alleged angry and racially divisive phone call by Michelle Obama to an outfit called African Press International yesterday, but didn’t know what to make of it.

Today, the post is gaining steam and being linked widely across blogs.  One of those is Newsbusters, which investigated API and found that the organization “has been in existence for over two years and has filed over a thousand stories.” API lists their correspondents on its front page, and also lists contact telephone numbers in both Great Britain and Norway.  To me, this gives the organization at least a little credibility.  It’s hard to believe that API would establish a two year physical presence in two countries and then risk it all by making up a story out of whole cloth.

So we’ll take a look at the allegation with a grain of salt.

Lower Southampton Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint

While the “leaders” in Lower Southampton Township push forward in spending more than ten million dollars on a Community Center no one in the community seems to want, crime in the community appears to be raging out of control.

If the bank robberies, community firefighters being arrested for arson and people being assaulted in their own driveways weren’t enough, Township gas station attendants can now look forward being robbed, having semi-automatic pistols shoved in their faces, and being forced to the ground.

7:30 PM.  On a Monday evening.

What day or time is it safe to be out and about shopping, dining, banking or filling up your tank in Lower Southampton Township? Banks are robbed in broad daylight, people are sticking guns in other peoples’ faces in early evening, folks out for a late night stroll are punched in the face in their driveways and firefighters are allegedly running around at all hours setting things on fire.

Forget the Community Center, how about a little more money for cops?  Screw the smoking ban, how about we put some resources into enforcing the sticking-guns-in-faces ban?

American Communist Party Feeling Good About The Election

The American Communist Party is feeling pretty good about their chances this election year, with the American economy having hit a rough patch and the candidate they all seem to be supporting up in the polls.  Of course, it’s a big coincidence that most American Communist Party members are supporting Obama.  You see, the party has not officially endorsed anyone in the Presidential election.

Obama: Nobody Has Capital Gains Right Now

Yeah, let’s elect this guy Barack Obama. His understanding of the economy is so rich and deep.  He wants to double the Capital Gains tax, but he doesn’t appear to understand what Capital Gains are.

In his economic rescue package for individuals, John McCain’s proposed halving the Capital Gains tax for a couple years to help people, particularly older people close to retirement or retired, stay on their feet.

Barack Obama was asked about the McCain proposal.

More Tainted Money In Patrick Murphy’s Till

Cha-Ching.  The tally of tainted Patrick Murphy money keeps piling up.

There’s another $14,000 of questionable campaign funds keeping disgraced Congressman Charlie Rangel’s contributions company in Murphy’s coffers.  Murphy received $14,000 from groups associated with Democrat leader Rahm Emanuel and from Emanuel’s campaign according to challenger Tom Manion.

Emanuel has been implicated by ABC News in trying to cover up the sex and hush money scanadal of Florida Democrat Tim Mahoney, fearing revelations about Mahoney would harm his reelection chances.

Ohio Group Files RICO Charges Against ACORN

A self-described nonpartisan think tank in Ohio has filed state RICO charges against Obama’s vote fraud and bank intimidation group ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) on behalf of voters in the state’s Warren County.

The group, called The Buckeye Institute, alleges “ACORN has engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity that amounts to organized crime” and denies citizens their “right to participate in an honest and effective elections process.”

RICO statutes refer to the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, legislation that is used to combat organized crime.

COLUMBUS – The Buckeye Institute, a Columbus-based think tank, today filed a state RICO action against the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) on behalf of two Warren County voters.  The action filed in Warren County Court of Common Pleas alleges ACORN has engaged in a pattern of corrupt activity that amounts to organized crime.  It seeks ACORN’s dissolution as a legal entity, the revocation of any licenses in Ohio, and an injunction against fraudulent voter registration and other illegal activities.

Plaintiffs Jennifer Miller of Mason, Ohio and Kimberly Grant of Loveland, allege that ACORN’s actions deprive them of the right to participate in an honest and effective elections process.  They allege fraudulent voter registrations submitted by ACORN dilute the votes of legally registered voters.

“The right to cast a vote that is not diluted by fraudulent votes is a fundamental individual right,” Buckeye Institute President David Hansen said.

“ACORN appears to be recklessly disregarding Ohio laws and adding thousands of fraudulent voters to the state’s roles in the process,” Maurice Thompson, Director of the Buckeye Institute’s 1851 Center for Constitutional Law said.  “Such voter fraud erodes the value of legally cast votes,” he added.

In the complaint, Thompson cites an accumulation of evidence showing numerous instances of admitted fraud by ACORN employees, as well as individuals solicited by ACORN.

“In light of its hiring, training and compensation practices, ACORN should have known its conduct would cause fraud,” Thompson said.  “It also should know that its conduct will cause fraud in the future.”

In addition, the complaint cites conduct by ACORN in Colorado, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wisconsin.

Fraudulent Credit Card Donations To Obama Campaign

As vote fraud and bank intimidation group ACORN’s Denial of Service attack against our election system continues, reports are emerging that Obama supporters are using credit card fraud as a means to funnel additional illegal contributions to their candidate.

This is on top of the thousands of illegal contributions, presumably from outside the US, made using false names and phony addresses.
