LA Times Suppresses Damaging Obama PLO Video

In April 2008, the Los Angeles Times indicated they were in possession of a videotape showing Barack Obama at a party in honor of former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi.  Terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dorhn were also in attendance, and Khalidi lavished praise upon Obama as a friend of the Palestinian cause.

At Khalidi’s going-away party in 2003, the scholar lavished praise on Obama, telling the mostly Palestinian American crowd that the state senator deserved their help in winning a U.S. Senate seat. “You will not have a better senator under any circumstances,” Khalidi said.

The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.

Since then, the LA Times has stubbonly refused to release the videotape or provide any more information about its contents.

The American people have a right to know about Barack Obama’s allegiances.

Several blogs are stepping up the calls on the LA Times to release the tape and give Americans all the information that’s out there while choosing our next President.

Contacting the LA Times seems to be fruitless.  Readers are urged to contact companies that advertise in the LA Times and impress upon them the importance of a fair press.

UPDATE: Can O’Reilly shame the LA Times into releasing the tape? Video below.

Obama Advisor: Redistribution And Reparation Rant Really Conservative

Obama mouthpiece Ben Smith, who has mastered the media bias technique of airing the rebuttal without ever fulling airing the charge, prints a missive from Obama legal advisor and Havard professor Cass Sunstein saying Obama’s 2001 taped lament that the courts were not the right outlet for attempts to redistribute wealth were really espousing “conservative legal principles.”  Ben’s so excited to get the Obama campaign’s furious spin out, his article is filled with typos.

“What the critics are missing is that the term ‘redistribution’ didn’t man [sic] in the Constitutional context equalized wealth or anything like that. It meant some positive rights, most prominently the right to education, and also the right to a lawyer,” Sunstein said. “What he’s saying – this is the irony of it – he’s basically taking the side of the conservatives then and now against the liberals.”

Of course he is.  That’s what Obama is best known for: Taking the side of conservatives.

For the record, in the interview Obama says a “tragedy” of the civil rights movement was that they attempted to use the courts for wealth redistribution as reparations instead of working on legislatures and working for “political and community organizing and activities on the ground that are able to put together the actual coalitions of power through which you bring about redistributed change.”

Obama In 2001 Championing Wealth Redistribution As Reparations

Barack Obama, in a 2001 interview with Illinois Public Radio, lamenting that the Supreme Court under Warren wasn’t radical enough to mandate “reparative” wealth redistribution by “break[ing] free from the essential constraints that were placed by the founding fathers in the Constitution.”  And that, according to Obama, is a “tragedy” of the civil rights movement.

Obama doesn’t question whether redistribution of wealth is right or appropriate for our society, just how it can best be accomplished.

Four-and-a-half minutes that gives lie to the claim that Obama is not a socialist.

B Faced Girl Was Ron Paul Supporter With History Of Questionable Claims

Ashley Todd, who falsely claimed an attacker slashed the letter “B” in her face because she was a McCain supporter mugging her, was apparently too “out there” for even the Ron Paul campaign.  And that’s saying something.

Dustan Costine, the leader of the Texas Ron Paul grass-roots group in which Todd was involved, said she was asked to leave the group “because of the tactics she displayed.”

A Time For Choosing 2008

am stunned that there is absolutely no plan from the RNC to combat Barack Obama’s upcoming 30 minute infomercial.  Although it may not be the deciding factor of the election, it is 30 minutes of uninterrupted, unopposed Obamaganda on all major networks

On October 27, 1964, Ronald Reagan took to the airwaves for a half-hour of advertising time paid for by the Goldwater campaign and delivered an address to the nation called “A Time For Choosing,” also known as “The Speech.” Reagan had been delivering versions of the address, modified at times to reflect new information, during the entire campaign, most notably at the Republican National Convention in San Francisco.

Joe Biden Gets Tough Questions And Withers

Barbara West of Florida’s WFTV gets the Bucks Right Excellence In Journalism Award for being the one reporter to actually ask either Barack Obama or Joe Biden a tough question this entire election season.

West’s interviewee was Joe “Plugs” Biden, and the “wait a second – these questions aren’t based on our campaign’s talking points” look on his face when she presses him on Obama’s socialist plan to “spread the wealth around” and his own threat that we will be attacked due to Obama’s inexperience if we elect his ticket is priceless.  He just starts rambling.

Unfortunately I’ve been unable to find an embedable version of the video, so you’ll have to go to WFTV’s site to view it.  It’s worth it.

‘B’ Girl Admits Slash Story A Hoax

Ashley Todd, the 20-year old who said she was robbed and then had the letter “B” carved into her face by the robber after he became enraged at seeing her McCain bumper sticker, has admitted to making the story up according to police.

Police administered a polygraph test to Todd earlier today after noting inconsistencies in her story.  They have not released the results of that test, but say that Todd admitted to the hoax separate from the test.

She is expected to be charged with filing a false police report.  I hope it carries a nice, long sentence.

Pittsburgh We Have A Problem: ‘B’ Girl Changes Slash Story

Ashley Todd, the 20-year old College Republican who says she was robbed at a Pittsburgh ATM and slashed in the face in retaliation for her support of Presidential candidate John McCain has changed her story according to police.

The student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, initially said a black man robbed her at knifepoint Wednesday night and then cut her cheek after seeing a McCain sticker on her car.

Police say bank surveillance footage doesn’t show her at an ATM where she says she was attacked.

Todd, who is white, now says she was knocked unconscious and doesn’t remember being cut. She now says she only discovered the wound later.

If the police are accurate, the veracity of this story is not looking good.

UPDATE: Hoax.

DNC Spent $5.3 Million For Invesco Field Barackopolis Convention Set

The liberal media has been working hard to manufacture a fake controversy about the RNC spending $150,000 on a temporary campaign wardrobe for Governor Sarah Palin.  You’d be hard-pressed, though, to find any mention of the $5.3 million the DNC spent on the one-time-use stage, complete with fake Greek columns, for Barack Obama’s arrogant nomination acceptance speech.
