Bucks County’s US Congressman Patrick Murphy has accepted $9,200 in campaign contributions from Kuchera Defense Systems, a defense contractor so embroiled in fraud allegations that it has been banned from doing business with the US Navy.

Although he’s only been in Congress since 2007, Murphy has accepted so much money from Kuchera that he is the third highest current member of Congress in terms of the amount received from the company’s employees in all their donations since 1992 according to OpenSecrets.org.

Struggling US Taxpayers Fund Obama NYC Junket

obama-nyc-beforePitching his message to Oregon’s environmentally-conscious voters, Obama called on the United States to “lead by example” on global warming, and develop new technologies at home which could be exported to developing countries.

“We can’t drive our SUVs and eat as much as we want and keep our homes on 72 degrees at all times … and then just expect that other countries are going to say OK,” Obama said.

Nelson is considering protesting by stopping paying taxes.

Mancow Publicist Asked For Help With Waterboarding Hoax

A series of emails has called into question whether the waterboarding of fading radio personality Erich “Mancow” Mueller last week was a legitimate exercise or a carefully planned hoax.

Mancow, absent from the radio in most major markets and on little-heard AM stations in smaller markets, agreed to be waterboarded for the show.  He later claimed it led to an “ideological conversion” and that – lo and behold – he now sees waterboarding as torture.  Predictably, this has led to increased media exposure, most notably an appearance on MSNBC’s left wing Countdown.
