Poor Barack.  Thousands of Iranians in the street protesting a sham election and struggling for freedom and democracy, and it happens on a weekend. As it turns out, Barack Obama’s pollsters must be off for the weekend, so Obama has no idea whether to come down on the side of Democracy for Iran or on the side of it’s dictator, who he’s been trying to woo into a private meeting for years.

Durbin Receives Treasury Briefing, Cashes Out Next Day

Democrat Senator Dick Durbin sold about $43,000 worth of his mutual funds the day after he and other Congressional leaders were given a closed-door briefing on the need for emergency legislation to save troubled banks.

Durbin and others in Congress were briefed by Henry Paulson, who was the Treasury Secretary at the time, and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on September 18.  Durbin sold the mutual funds on September 19.  By the end of September, Durbin’s investment sales had reached $116,000.

Even Bill Maher Is Sick Of Obama

Ultra-liberal Bill Maher seems to be as sick of seeing Barack Obama’s face plastered all over television as we conservatives are.  I suspect the reasoning is a bit different, though.  We’re tired of the media papering over his lies and deceit, but I think Maher is probably getting sick of the blisters on his palms from the merciless dry self-gratification he’s compelled to undertake each time his messiah’s face appears on screen.

Americorps IG Gets A Taste Of “The Chicago Way”

Can you imagine how quickly the state-run media would pee their pants in delight if George Bush ever fired an investigator right after he’d exposed a Bush crony using public grants for private purposes like car washes and political campaigns.  20 minutes of every nightly newscast would be devoted to the story.

Yet this is exactly what happened when Barack Obama fired the Inspector General investigating Americorps, and not a peep.
