Announcement: Bucks County Forum at Bucks Right

I’m happy to announce that I’ve added a forum section to the web site.  Now I’m not the only one able to add content to Bucks Right: You are all invited to jump in and start discussions.

The forum section is your voice.  Make it what you will.  Conservative, liberal, none of the above.  Talk about things going on in your neighborhood, things you heard at your barber shop, your town, your street.  It’s not only there for politics and government. Talk about your favorite local radio station or your least favorite newspaper.

There are a few rules which are clearly spelled-out in a post.

Users will need to register separately for the forum at this time. I am looking for a work-around.

Please feel free to use and enjoy the Bucks County Virtual Community Center at Bucks Right.

As always, if you have any suggestions please feel free to contact me using the Contact Form or the Private Messaging system on the forum.

Rumor Mill: Obama Birth Certificate Under Soetoro Name

With Barack Obama on vacation cooling his jets in Hawaii, it seems a Clinton end-game to wrest the nomination from Obama is coming to fruition.

First, a virtual dump of internal Clinton campaign memos and documents portraying Obama as non-American and unelectable somehow made it the media.

Now, rumors that back up the “non-American” angle that the Clinton camp felt would be so effective are starting to percolate on the internet. Specifically, a charge that the Obama Certificate of Live Birth leaked to the liberal Daily Kos web site and subsequently posted on Obama’s own site is a forgery.  It is rumored that the forgery was released because the real Obama Birth Certificate carries the name Barry Soetoro and implies that the candidate carried dual citizenship between Indonesia and the USA at some point in his lifetime.

Courier-Times Defends Li’l Pat’s Day at the Races

The Courier-Times division of the Patrick Murphy campaign runs a nice little bit of interference for the candidate in their Saturday edition. Writer Brian Scheid attempts to diffuse the swirling controversy surrounding Li’l Pat’s decision to judge a zucchini race rather than debate energy solutions with opponent Tom Manion while barely mentioning the controversy and ignoring the handful of protesters who squared off with Murphy at the zucchini event.

Murphy “Aye” Vote Serves Lawyer Constituency Well

A quick look Patrick Murphy’s fundraising this election cycle shows “Lawyers/Law Firms” as the number one industry contributing to Li’l Pat’s campaign by double the next highest group.  Pat’s votes serve his big money benefactors in the lawsuit industry well.  The thousands of small businesses in Pennsylvania’s Eighth Congressional District that are among those he’s supposed to be representing in Washington?  Well, not so much.  A recent example is, Li’l Pat’s “Aye” vote for the dubiously named “Paycheck Fairness Act.”

Edwards Admits: I Cheated on My Cancer Ridden Wife

Former 2008 Presidential candidate and 2004 Vice Presidential nominee John Edwards admits to cheating on his wife with a novice filmmaker he later paid to make campaign documentaries, although he denies that the filmmaker’s child is his.

In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 44-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her.

Edwards also denied he was the father of Hunter’s baby girl, Frances Quinn, although the one-time Democratic Presidential candidate said he has not taken a paternity test.

Edwards said he knew he was not the father based on timing of the baby’s birth on February 27, 2008. He said his affair ended too soon for him to have been the father.

Two Americas. One where you pose with your cancer-victim wife for the cameras, the other where you bang the help.

Edwards made a point of telling Woodruff that his wife’s cancer was in remission when he began the affair with Hunter.

How kind of him.  She was in remission.

Strangely, I’m sure this does not disqualify him from Democrat VP consideration.

The Obama Campaign’s ‘7-Year-Old Eruption’ Problem

During the 1992 Presidential campaign, candidate Bill Clinton suffered from what were termed as “Bimbo Eruptions;” a flurry of women reporting that the candidate had behaved toward them sexually in a way inappropriate for a married man.

Fast forward to the 2008 campaign, and another Democrat candidate is having “eruption” problems.  The Obama campaign is in the midst of a full blown “7-year-old Eruption;” a flurry of 7-year-old children popping up at campaign events and intellectually besting Barack and Michelle Obama.

A Little Egg On Your Face: McCain Ad Touts Dem Support

One of the left’s favorite ways to attack President Bush over the past seven-and-a-half years has been to heap praise upon Senator John McCain.  The animosity between Bush and McCain is well known, and by lauding McCain the lefties felt like they could appear non-partisan while remaining virulently anti-Bush.  This has been especially true when McCain has forwarded agendas like Amnesty or First Amendment-busting Campaign Finance laws that pissed-off conservatives .

That strategy, along with a bitter (and seemingly not-yet-ended) Democrat primary campaign, has yielded advertising gold for the McCain campaign in the form of their new web-only advertisement called “Democrats Praising McCain.”
