Protesters March On LA Times Demanding Release Of Obama PLO Tape

An estimated 150 protesters, armed with signs reading “Free The Tape,” “Nixon Released His Tapes,” and “If You Don’t Report How Can We Decide?” marched in front of the LA Times building this afternoon demanding the “news” organization release a tape showing Barack Obama partying with Rashid Khalidi and other enemies of Israel.

Khalidi, another “guy from Obama’s neighborhood” and close friend of Obama and his wife, is believed to be a former PLO spokesman and is an outspoken opponent of Israel.

Many believe the tape shows Obama seated with domestic terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, applauding after the reading of a poem accusing Israel of being a “terrorist” nation, and toasting Khalidi with lavish praise.

The LA Times refuses to release the tape it first reported on in April 2008.  Their most recent excuse is a supposed promise to the source that it would not be released.  This does not explain why they will not release a detailed transcript and description verified by an independent third-party.

Blogs have offered up to $200,000 to anyone who can produce the tape before Sunday.

Early Voting Good News For McCain In Nevada, Florida

Democrats have been pushing early voting heavily in an attempt to increase turnout, and I’ve seen hardly any such push from Republicans.

None of the early votes are counted yet, but the party breakout of those who have voted early is known and pollsters are polling the early voters.

There’s nothing but good news for John McCain in the hotly contested Florida and Nevada races.

Rapper Jay-Z gave the crowd at a Cleveland, Ohio Obama rally the hand salute…

…created to honor the Obama campaign…

…that appears to be modeled after a hand salute Hitler used while describing “the unity of the National Socialist and socialist ideas“…

In fact, Jay-Z’s version seems to track even more closely with Hitler’s version of the socialist salute than the drawing does.

Bill Clinton: Obama Did ‘Call Forwarding’ On 3AM Crisis Call

The media is gushing about Bill Clinton campaigning with Barack Obama in Florida last night, but they apparently paid little attention to what Clinton actually said.

“You know what he did?” Clinton said, heralding Obama’s reaction to the financial crisis. “First he took a little heat for not saying much. I knew what he was doing. He talked to his advisers – he talked to my economic advisers, he called Hillary. He called me. He called Warren Buffet. He called all those people, you know why? Because he knew it was complicated and before he said anything he wanted to understand.”

Obama had to call Hillary to find out what to think about the financial crisis?  One of the bigger issues in the Democrat primary between Obama and Hillary Clinton was who you’d want answering the phone at 3AM when an emergency call came in to the White House.

Seems the Democrats could have cut out the middle-man and nominated the person who actually had a clue what to think when the 3AM phone call got patched through.  Not that I would have agreed with what she thought or ultimately did, but at least she would have understood the problem.

Instead, they nominated the guy who was so clueless he set the red phone up for call forwarding at 3AM.

Vets For Freedom Urge Murtha To Retract His Smears

Vets for Freedom, who have endorsed strong pro-military and security minded Congressional candidates like Bill Russell (against John Murtha in PA-12) and Tom Manion (against Nancy Pelosi’s stooge Patrick Murphy in PA-8), are compiling signatures on a petition urging Murtha to reject and apologize for his false smears against the Haditha Marines.

VFF is also currently running radio commercials for Manion.

John “unindicted co-conspirator” Murtha seems to be an unstoppable smear machine, having smeared his own constituents as “racist” and “redneck” in the past couple weeks.  As a result, he is particularly vulnerable this election despite his protestation that there is “no Goddamned way” Russell will beat him.

Dream On Obama – Aerosmith’s Perry Backs McCain

I’ll take Aerosmith over Bon Jovi and Dave Matthews every day of the week.

“We pretty much stay out of it, but seeing so many people come out for Obama, I just felt like ‘What the hell, I might as well raise my hand for this side,” [Aerosmith guitarist Joe] Perry said from his Duxbury home.

The Bay State rockers have done a few fund-raisers for the Kennedy family over the years, but Perry’s endorsement of McCain marks a first for the platinum-selling guitarist/songwriter. A lifelong Republican, he said he was inspired to come forward because of ringing McCain endorsements from Rudy Giuliani and California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.

“I’ve been a hardcore Republican my whole life,” he told the Herald. “My mother and father drilled into me from the very start that if you work hard and be positive, you’ll get what you’re working for. I guess I’m living proof of that.”

My Obamaganda Tolerance: 7 Minutes

I made it about 7 minutes into Barack Obama’s Jack-Napier-taking-over-the-airwaves impersonation, right up until he got to the part about the unconstitutional 90-day mortgage foreclosure moratorium.  Unconstitutional unless I missed the part of the Constitution that gives the President the power to nullify portions of legal private contracts, that is.

I’m interested in this stuff and I was bored to tears to the extent that it seemed like a good idea to turn to PBS and watch Zooey Deschanel sing.  Imagine my headache right now.

Can anyone beat my 7 minutes?
