Paper: Patrick Murphy Benefactor Has Drug Dealing Past

A defense contractor and heavy donor to Democrat Congressman Patrick Murphy so mired in fraud allegations that it has been barred from doing business with the US Navy, is “being run by a convicted drug dealer” according to a shock report by the Bucks County Courier Times.

The paper reports that Kuchera Defense Systems, which has donated $9,200 to Patrick Murphy and seen earmarks come from Murphy to a company with which it partnered, is run by William Kuchera.

Stimulus Fail: May Unemployment Skyrockets To 9.4%

The national Unemployment Rate has skyrocketed to a worse-than-feared 9.4%.

Two Arrested For Gun At Philadelphia International Airport

Local media is reporting that two men, one a U.S. Airways employee, have been arrested at Philadelphia International Airport after an unloaded gun and ammunition were smuggled onto a flight at the airport.

It all began when a passenger boarding Flight US Airways flight 1195 from Philadelphia to Phoenix was going through a security gate. The man gave a bag to an employee who went around security with the bag.

Someone witnessed the exchange, found it suspicious and notified authorities.

Police entered the plane and removed the man in question. They confiscated his bag and found a gun. The gun was not loaded but rounds were recovered.

Everyone was taken off of the plane as a security measure to rescreen the plane.

Dead: David Carradine (72)

ABC News is reporting that actor David Carradine, most famous for playing in Kwai Chang Caine on the television program Kung Fu, is dead in Thailand.

ABC quotes Carradine’s agent as saying Carradine’s death is the result of natural causes, but BNO News reports that Carradine’s death is an apparent suicide by hanging.

Carradine was in Bangkok, Thailand to film a movie.

If You Want To Destroy My…Snuggie?

Alternative rock band Weezer was cool in the mid-90s with hits like “Undone (The Sweater Song)” and “Buddy Holly,” and then they weren’t cool for a while, and recently they’ve come back and were seen as cool again.

Now, according to The Consumerist, Weezer is coming out with a branded version of the Snuggie called the Wuggie.  And Consumerist claims they’re verified it’s not a joke or prank.  Say It Ain’t So!

Pretty sure that means they’re, once again, not cool.  Sad picture below.
