Don’t Buy It: Palin “Brother-In-Law” Investigation Trumped-Up

The ethics investigation into Sarah Palin’s handling of the issue surrounding her ex-brother-in-law’s career is a trumped up charge with no legs that came about after the brother-in-law allegedly issued this threat to Palin’s sister: “Put a leash on your sister and family or I’m going to bring them down.”

Despite the attempt to “bring her down,” Alaskans know the truth. Palin’s approval rating stood at 80% as of last month.

FOX and CNBC (Now CNN) are reporting that John McCain has selected 44-year old Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his running mate.  Palin is pro-life, pro-drill, a true reformer and agent of change, and a maverick who is not afraid to take on the status quo.

CNN just complained on-air that they are getting “the silent treatment.”  (UPDATE: CNN CONFIRMS)

If you were looking for a fair and unbiased reaction to Patrick Murphy’s speech at the Democrat Convention that genuinely reflected the pulse of the community at large, where would you go?  Would you head to a local bar?  Perhaps a community center?  Would you talk to people in the street?

If you were a writer for Calkins Media’s Bucks County Courier-Times, you would head straight for a partisan “Patrick Murphy Watch Party and Phone Bank” organized through Barack Obama’s official web site at the home of a “Proud, Loud, and Excited Volunteer” for the Obama campaign. Then you’d obscure the fact that your quotes were gathered at a partisan event for volunteers.  Of course, that doesn’t warrant a mention.  Everyone assumes what they read in the Courier-Times is biased in favor of Murphy anyway, right?
