Community Super-Organized: Indianapolis Has 105% Voter Registration

Hand it to Indianapolis, Indiana: When their community gets organized, it gets really, really organized.  105% of their adult population is registered to vote.

According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).

So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!

Coincidentally I’m sure, ACORN (you know, that shady organization that Barack Obama absolutely, positively, never ever worked for – they were just some guys in his neighborhood) has an office in town.

Murphy Fund Raising Concert Features Far Left Act

In front of the general public, Congressman Patrick Murphy tries to project the image of a staunch Catholic and strong supporter of America’s troops.  Murphy even sits as a national co-chair on Barack Obama’s Catholic Advisory Council and on the House of Representative’s Armed Services Committee.

But his far-left benefactors know the truth behind the Murphy facade. They see the public Murphy, then they look at the votes and hear him brag about his 100% Pro-Abortion rating from Planned Parenthood, and they know their money is safe with him.

That’s why, when it comes time to stick some more money next to that big, fat check from disgraced Congressman Charlie Rangel in Murphy’s coffers, local singer LisaBeth Weber is happy to come out and play.  She’ll be appearing at “a concert to benefit the re-election of Congressman Patrick Murphy on Friday, October 10 at George School’s Walton Center in Newtown” according to a Craig’s List ad and an advertisement at Murphy’s own site.

Is this a Murphy sanctioned event?

According to her lyrics, Weber finds herself “at odds” with “all that put their faith in” God (actually, according to the printed lyrics, “god”).  Aside from being grammatically unseemly, this would appear include Mr. Catholic Advisory Council himself, who she’ll be singing to raise money for.  I wonder if the part about being “at odds” with Murphy’s beliefs will be discussed before or after the Murphy / Rangel cash register goes “cha ching.”

And our soldiers at war? The ones Mr. Armed Services Committee so strongly champions? According to Weber, they’re apparently all war criminals.  All she wants to do is “understand the reasons for the crimes” they’re committing.  And, lest you think Weber is singing a patriotic rant against enemies of America, she makes it clear that her vitriol is directed at those who “tell us it’s for freedom” and taunts “Who’s the killer now?”

Ayers Victim Joins Team McCain, Releases Statement

John M. Murtagh, who’s house was firebombed by the radical Weather Underground group led by Barack Obama’s buddy Bill Ayers when Murtagh was 9 years old, released a statement through the McCain campaign today.  Murtagh described the terrorist attack in detail in an article last March.

“When I was 9 years-old the Weather Underground, the terrorist group founded by Barack Obama’s friend William Ayers, firebombed my house. Barack Obama has dismissed concerns about his relationship with Ayers by noting that he was only a child when Ayers was planting bombs at the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol. But Ayers has never apologized for his crimes, he has reveled in them, expressing regret only for the fact that he didn’t do more.

“While Barack Obama once downplayed his relationship with Ayers, today his campaign took that deceit one step further. Barack Obama now denies he was even aware of his friend’s violent past when, in 1995, Ayers hosted a party launching Obama’s political career. Given Ayers’ celebrity status among the left, it’s difficult to believe. The question remains: what did Obama know, and when did he know it? When did Obama learn the truth about his friend? Barack Obama helped Ayers promote his book in 1997, served on charitable boards with him through 2002, and regularly exchanged emails and phone calls with him through 2005. At what point did Barack Obama discover that his friend was an unrepentant terrorist? And if he is so repulsed by the acts of terror committed by William Ayers, why did the relationship continue? Any honest accounting by Barack Obama will necessarily cast further doubt on his judgment and his fitness to serve as commander in chief.

Obama: Member Of The Socialist New Party?

Through diligent use of Google and Archive.org, a weblog called Politically Drunk on Power has unearthed contemporary evidence from 1996 that shows Barack Obama ran for the Illinois Senate as a member of Chicago’s “New Party,” a Socialist entity created by the Democratic Socialists of America.

The link between Obama and the New Party was first reported in June of this year, when conservative researchers found evidence that the party had endorsed Obama in his run.  However, newly located information reveals that Obama was a member within their Socialist ranks, and that they listed Obama among the candidates of their party who had won elections.  Obama even signed a contract promising to a “visible and open relationship” with this socialist New Party.

To put it in perspective, the Democratic Socialists of America are so far out-there that the Cynthia McKinney’s Green Party derided them as extremists.

According to the site, the New Party was basically disbanded in 1999 “after losing a supreme court challenge that ruled the organizations “fusion” reform platform as unconstitutional.”

Of course, when the first revelations about the Obama / New Party links came to light in June, the candidate quickly denied them.  That’s his MO.  As more evidence is revealed, he’ll likely claim that he didn’t know they were Socialists.  They were just some guys in his neighborhood.

Now We’re The Nattering Nabobs of Negativism

We have met the enemy, and he is us.

What is with Conservatives and, more broadly, Republicans?  We will stare down a nuclear-armed “Evil Empire” and never blink as we put them out of existence.  We will stand up to an evil, genocidal dictator, invade his country, drive him out of power and see him hanged.  We will climb atop a mountain of industrial rubble that used to be our country’s most prominent tribute to the success of capitalism and declare war on a faceless far-reaching nebulous collection of suicide terrorists.

Then, in the face of a lightweight street agitator who was voting “present” on things like lottery ticket designs four years ago, we lay down and give up?

No, we can’t.

This is a tough fight, and the media has stacked the deck against us.  But it is a fight.  Contrary to popular belief, this is not a coronation or a foregone conclusion. Polls are tightening again, and we face a flawed candidate with a history of being unable to seal the deal.

“That one” consorts with terrorists.  “That one” supported killing infants who were born alive as the result of failed abortions.  “That one” believes the way to economic prosperity is to turn being successful into a bad economic decision.  “That one” wrote books proudly espousing “White folks greed runs a world in need.” “That one” sat in a racist, anti-American “church” for twenty years supporting a separatist pastor while funneling public and private money into deeply radical causes.  “That one” spoke out in favor of the policies that threw our country into economic despair.  “That one” was mentored in his youth by a member of the Communist Party of the USA.

If stopping “that one” from taking charge of this country with no checks and balances from the other two branches of Government isn’t a cause worth fighting for until the last ballot is cast, then what is?

Make no mistake, in light of the economic and national security challenges we face at this moment, defeating “that one” at the polls is imperative to the survival of this nation.  There is too much at risk to hand the reigns over to an untested radical whose beliefs are antithetical to every value most of us hold dear.

Americans have been shedding blood on battlefields foreign and domestic for hundreds of years to prevent the kind of “leadership” “that one” promises to impose on this country.  But we’re prepared to concede him the ballot box 28-days out?  No, we can’t.

With so much at stake, we’re going to choose this moment to begin trusting the Obama media as they declare this race over?  We’re going to hand the gloating leftist America haters a victory unchallenged? No, we can’t.

Now is the time to be bold.  Now is the time to fight.  Spread the word about Obama’s radical associations. Spread the word about the damage he will do to our economy.  Spread the word that he will lead us to defeat in the war on terror.

They only win when we let them win. Did you think this wouldn’t be a fight?  We knew what the challenges were, and we know – now more than ever – what the costs of defeat are.

I am not going to give up.  And, if you understand everything that is at stake in this election, you are not going to give up.

Palin Email Hacking Suspect Arrested

David Kernell, the University of Tennessee student accused of hacking into the Yahoo! email account of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, has been indicted on federal charges and has turned himself in to authorities pending a courtroom appearance this afternoon according to local Knoxville Tennessee media.

David C. Kernell, 20, was indicted by a federal grand jury in Knoxville, Tennessee., for intentionally accessing without authorization the e-mail account of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Acting Assistant Attorney General Matthew Friedrich of the Criminal Division and U.S. Attorney James R. Dedrick for the Eastern District of Tennessee announced today.

Kernell turned himself into federal authorities for arrest.

Kernell will appear in front of Federal Magistrate C. Clifford Shirley, Jr., at 10:00 a.m. for an initial appearance, according to a spokesperson in the U.S. Attorney’s office.

The single count indictment, returned on October 7, 2008, and unsealed today, alleges that on approximately September 16, 2008, Kernell, a resident of Knoxville, obtained unauthorized access to Governor Sarah Palin’s personal e-mail account by allegedly resetting the account password.

According to the indictment, after answering a series of security questions that allowed him to reset the password and gain access to the e-mail account, Kernell allegedly read the contents of the account and made screenshots of the e-mail directory, e-mail content and other personal information.

According to the indictment, Kernell posted screenshots of the e-mails and other personal information to a public website. Kernell also allegedly posted the new e-mail account password, thus providing access to the account by others.

Kernell is the son of a bigwig Tennessee Democrat lawmaker and strong Obama supporter.

Didn’t Another Democrat Once Promise Middle-Class Tax Cuts?

I seem to remember another young, energetic Democrat candidate for President repeating again and again how the middle-class was going to see its taxes cut if they would take a chance and elect him.

The candidate was Bill Clinton.  The year was 1992.  The result was the largest tax increase in history, including taxes on people making as little as $20,000 a year.  William McGurn remembers, too.

Debate Three: Like Debate One But With 100% More Walking

If you liked it the first time, you’ll love it the second time.  That’s the story of debate three; the second debate between the two Presidential candidates.  It was exactly the same debate with nearly the exact questions and the exact narrow range of topics.  I watch a lot of legal shows, and I couldn’t help but think to myself “asked and answered” after every question Brokaw managed to spit out.

Let’s put an end to this illusion that town hall debates are in any way different than podium debates. Whether it’s one liberal talking head creating the questions or 10,000 people creating questions to be filtered by one liberal talking head, you’re still getting the questions framed by the liberal talking head.

So we’ve had three debates among these four candidates, and we have no idea how any of them feel about guns or abortion or what kind of judges they would appoint.  We have no clue about their policies toward immigration or how they would handle crime.  Cloning?

Nevada Is No Ohio: Officials Raid ACORN Offices In Las Vegas

Nevada state officials have raided the Las Vegas offices of Obama-friendly community organizer group ACORN to search for evidence of voter fraud.

Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh says ACORN is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with false and duplicate names.

ACORN has deep and long-standing ties to Barack Obama, and is blamed by many for strong arming banks into giving loans to people who could not afford to pay them back, causing our current financial crisis.
