Obama Tax Lie Revisited: Soda Edition
“I can make a firm pledge,” he said in Dover, N.H., on Sept. 12. “Under my plan, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes.”
He repeatedly vowed “you will not see any of your taxes increase one single dime.”
Not sure how that’s going to work in light of the newly proposed “Soda Tax” which, like the “Cigarette Tax” before it, disproportionally effects the working families Barack Obama claims to champion.
Analysis: Stimulus Did Nothing

Strangely (unless you’re paying attention) unemployment has come in exactly on the “Without Stealing Your Grandchildrens’ Earnings” line for two months in a row, proving that the stimulus did nothing except throw the entire nation into unsustainable debt.

Steele Fans: Are You Happy Now?
During late fall I went from mild trepidation to full out opposition when it came to electing Michael Steele as Chairman of the Republican Party. Seems like a nice enough guy and all, but not the guy to lead Republicans back to conservatism and out of the wilderness. For example, after an “unelectable” inexperienced leftist rube beat out a “moderate” war hero in the Presidential Election last year, Steele had this to say.
“We have to elect moderates in the party,” he added.

Meghan McCain, the other McCain who defines “maverick Republican” as someone who flits around telling other Republicans that they should act more like Democrats, behaved like a snotty diva at the White House Correspondence Dinner according to the New York Daily News.

PA Democrat Brady Against Erectile Dysfunction Cures
Erectile Dysfunction is a sore subject in the home of Democrat Congressman Bob Brady. Seeing television commercials for ED cures apparently makes Brady uncomfortable, and increasingly in this era of one-party rule, anything that makes a Democrat uncomfortable must be banished from the airwaves.
Brady and James Moran, another member of the nascent Facist Democrat party, are pushing the “Families for ED Advertising Decency Act,” the stated goal of which is “To prohibit as indecent the broadcasting of any advertisement for a medication for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, and for other purposes.” The act would make it illegal to broadcast ads for ED products between 6 AM and 10 PM.
No word on commercials for douche or tampons or other products that could easily be confused with euphemisms for Democrat Congressmen, but can they be far behind?

Honoring Flight 93 By Confiscating Private Property
You know what would be an excellent way to honor the 40 Americans who were killed when Islamic terrorists hijacked Flight 93 and crashed it into a field on 9/11? Swiping the private property of other Americans and then building a memorial that points toward Mecca and is filled with Islamic symbolism on that property.
The National Park Service agrees with me.
“We always prefer to get that land from a willing seller. And sometimes you can just not come to an agreement on certain things,” park service spokesman Phil Sheridan said.
The 5th Amendment to the Constitution allows this kind of thing (although I’m wondering which Federal enumerated power building a memorial would fall under), but it seems entirely distasteful. Of course there should be a Flight 93 memorial, but in a country where ACORN gets $4 Billion in non-stimulative stimulus money there should be an above-board way to do it that actually honors libery rather than trampling it.
Vindictive Obama Exacts Revenge On Palin Through Budget Cuts
A good portion of the proposed cuts to Barack Obama’s $3.4 trillion budget are targeted directly at the State of Alaska. Not coincidentally, the current Governor of Alaska is Sarah Palin, the Vice Presidential candidate on the ticket that opposed candidate Barack Obama.
While the $17 billion in cuts proposed by Obama are minuscule compared to the mammoth $3.4 trillion in wasteful spending he’s proposed, the cuts do appear to disproportionally target Alaskan interests.

Surprising absolutely no one, an intelligence report given to Capitol Hill officials yesterday shows that Democrat House Speaker and botched plastic surgery victim Nancy Pelosi lied when she claimed she had no idea enhanced interrogation techniques such as waterboarding were being used against terror suspects.

“In that or any other briefing . . . we were not, and I repeat, were not told that waterboarding or any of these other enhanced interrogation techniques were used,” Pelosi said at a news conference in April. “What they did tell us is that they had some legislative counsel . . . opinions that they could be used, but not that they would.”
