Obama’s Cairo Speech Wasn’t Broadcast In Iran

A little inconvenient fact to throw in the faces of the Obama cultists who would give credit for the uprising in Iran to Barack Obama’s “Address to the Muslim World” in Cairo: Obama’s Cairo address wasn’t broadcast in Iran.

Obama’s remarks were televised on all radio and television stations in Israel, and with Arabic voice-over translations by Arab satellite stations Al-Arabiya and Al-Jazeera, Egyptian TV and Al-Manar, an outlet for the militant group Hezbollah. The speech was not broadcast in Iran, where the goverment jammed signals to block satellite owners from watching.

Obama Gets Testy, But Doesn’t Get Testes

An irritable Barack Obama took questions from the adoring White House press corps for nearly an hour this afternoon, angrily beating back even the most gentle criticisms of the way he’s handled the turmoil in Iran and his plans to socialize the American health care system.

It appears that, when faced with anything less than complete and universal adoration, President Pantywaist feels the need to lash out.

Songwriter Joseph Brooks Hit With Sex Assault Charges

Have you ever been in the dentist’s office or an elevator, subjected to Debbie Boone’s mellow 70s ballad “You Light Up My Life,” and thought, “boy, they should really arrest the guy who wrote this song?” Well, your wish has come true.

It’s just that Joseph Brooks wasn’t arrested for the assault on your ears.  He’s been accused of committing 5 sexual assaults since 2006.  Brooks, now 70 71, is expected to surrender to police today.
