Firefox 3.5 Reported To Be “Seriously Bugged”

As in-the-field reports pour in from those among the 8 million Internet denizens who have downloaded Mozilla Firefox 3.5, there’s a growing concern that the browser is not ready for prime-time and was rushed to release on 6/30 to meet an artificial 2Q deadline.

I have not yet upgraded from 3.0.11, and don’t know whether these reports are the normal minor complaints you find with any software amplified because of the huge reach of the product or whether they are deal-breaking major issues.

Frank Farry Signs “No Tax” Pledge

It’s rare you’ll read praise from me when someone signs onto anything entitled “Yes We Can.”

Luckily, this “Yes We Can” is backhanded and sarcastic praise of Barack Obama, who said “In an economy like this, the last thing we should do is raise taxes on the middle class” back when he was saying whatever he needed to say to get elected last year.  He may have forgotten, but we haven’t.
