That Moron Bloomberg: Cops Should Strike For Gun Bans

New York City’s control freak idiot mayor said that police officers around the country should punish the public by going on strike until the public develops the will to ban guns.

This guy is just the mayor of a city, right? I mean, he’s never even been elected to any state office, let alone a national office.  He’s just a mayor of a city.  A big city, sure.  But he’s a mayor. I’m not clear why we’re supposed to care what he says or thinks, except that the entire media is located in his city.

Remember when Bloomberg was a Republican for, like, the 5 minutes it took him to get elected after Rudy Giuliani?  Then, when he reached his term limit, he just illegally bought another term.  Yet no one sees through this guy in that entire city, and the media rushes to stick a microphone in front of his face every time he issues one of these mouth farts? Unbelievable.

Maybe we should focus on banning the purchase of illegal third terms.

“I don’t understand why police officers across this country don’t stand up collectively and say we’re going to go on strike, we’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe,’’ he told CNN’s Piers Morgan.

“Police officers want to go home to their families. And we’re doing everything we can to make their job more difficult, but more importantly, more dangerous, by leaving guns in the hands of people who shouldn’t have them and letting people who have those guns buy things like armor piercing bullets.’’

  1. T says:

OK, Sure. Cops go on strike.
Now instead of holding a mugger for them to pick up I simply shoot him. Let the garbage man pick up the refuse. Or a home invader. I don’t (and have not ever) had a problem defending myself or my family – we can do that.
It would also save money – no cops, no trials, no lawyers… this is sounding better all the time.

Be careful what you ask for.
