President Enacts DREAM Act Through Executive Order

Failed President Barack Obama ordered the Department of Homeland Security to stop deportation proceedings against illegal aliens who meet the criteria laid out in the DREAM Act, a law that could not make it through Congress.

The DREAM Act couldn’t make it through Congress because it didn’t have the votes.  It didn’t have the votes because the people want illegal aliens deported.  The President doesn’t care about the will of the people.  He never has. When he wants something done, he abuses the Executive Order process to get it done.

The Homeland Security Department said Thursday it will halt deportation proceedings on a case-by-case basis against illegal immigrants who meet certain criteria such as attending school, having family in the military or are primarily responsible for other family members’ care.

The move, announced in letters to Congress, comes after Hispanic activists and Democrats had urged President Obama to exempt broad swaths of illegal immigrants from deportation while Congress wrestles with the issue.

Of course, we have the luxury of doing things like this because jobs are plentiful and our economy is booming.  We can absorb untold numbers of people who break the law every day by being here.

“Supporters of comprehensive and targeted amnesties for illegal aliens have consistently failed to win approval by Congress or gain support from the American public,” said Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American Immigration Reform. “Having failed in the legislative process, the Obama administration has simply decided to usurp Congress’s constitutional authority and implement an amnesty program for millions of illegal aliens.”

What needs to be understood about illegal immigrants is the hold that Homeland Security has on immigration that is actually creating a point of diminishing returns. For example,in order for an immigrant to legally work at all, they not only have to have a Social Security number, but also a Work Authorization card.If immigration holds up the card for any reason whatsoever, the immigrant becomes illegal instantly. This creates a situation where the people need a job to support themselves and their families but can no longer do it legally. This means that the immigrants are not paying taxes to help the country.Instead, the government spends billions of dollars policing people that have done virtually nothing wrong in the first place. Therefore,it depends on how someone defines illegal immigrants.Did the person create a crime while they where here in this country that would justify their deportation.Or was there simply a problem with the immigration visa that is causing immigrants to get caught up in the beauracracy. If a picture is painted in the public mind by former president George W. Bush, who used the example of immigrants crossing over the border from Mexico to show how many immigrants are illegal in this country,so that he can gain political support for border patrol, this is not nearly an accurate assessment of how many are induced to illegal status because immigration has bogged itself down.Because of the aforementioned nonsense that is doing nothing more than create a huge expense,President Obama has made a move to put a stop to it.

What needs to be understood about illegal immigrants is that

      1. Coming into the country illegally is a felony
      2. There aren’t enough fucking jobs right now for real Americans
      3. We’re in fucking $16 Trillion debt, and giving hand-outs to people who don’t belong here isn’t helping

I see from your IP address that you’re in Maine. Must be easy to proselytize about it when you, literally, could not be any farther from the southern border.

Thanks for your bullshit know-nothing comment, though.
