Pennsylvania To Obama: We’re Not That Into You

A new poll released by Susquehanna Polling & Research shows that Pennsylvanians are tired of Barack Obama’s disasterous presidency and are anxious to put someone else in the White House in 2012.  Half of the state is ready to move on.

It appears that Obama is such a disaster that he could turn true-blue Pennsylvania back to patriotic red.

50 percent of respondents said the economy in Pennsylvania had worsened over the past 12 months, while 16 percent said it had improved. Thirty-five percent rated the economy about the same as a year ago.On the re-elect question, 43 percent of Pennsylvania voters say that Obama deserves a second term, while 50 percent say that it is “time to give someone else a chance.”

Wrote Jim Lee, president of SP&R: “The fact that 1 in 2 voters are looking for someone else suggests that President Obama has little room to grow and that Pennsylvania will again be a toss-up state in next year’s presidential election, particularly if the slow economic recovery continues to haunt the president.”

I love Jim Lee’s use of passive voice.  That tells you all you need to know.  My guess is that he’s a liberal who is devastated at the results of this survey.

“The slow economic recovery” is haunting him?  Actually, it’s his own inability and unwillingness to spur economic growth that’s causing the slow economic recovery.  Obama’s slow economic recovery is haunting the rest of us.

There’s a reason that “pro-growth” policies are called pro-growth, because they cause growth.  Obama is consciously doing everything exactly the opposite.
