CBS Cancels Criminal Minds: Garofalo Edition

CBS has canceled low-rated spin-off Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior, starring liberal loudmouth Janeane Garofalo, and renewed CSI: NY, which stars military supporter Gary Sinise.

Despite being huge fans of the original Criminal Minds, we didn’t even give Suspect Behavior a single second of view time. I couldn’t imagine laying eyes on that hateful little unfunny, untalented troll.  I tolerated her on 24, but that was before her most hateful “tea party is straight up racism” comments, and 24 did us the favor of making her a villain, and a stupid one at that.

Now I won’t have to worry about it.  Sure, she’s in “the club,” so she’ll continue to get work.  But no one will risk an hour on a major network on her again.

Suspect Behavior had three things going for it when it launched at midseason: Huge brand recognition, a cushy post-Minds timeslot and an Oscar-winning leading man in Forest Whitaker. The show nonetheless never caught on ratings-wise and now joins The Defenders, $#*! My Dad Says and Mad Love in CBS’ trash bin.
