Failed President Barack Obama’s phone call to check the well being of 30-year old liberal activist Sandra Fluke after Rush Limbaugh joked that Fluke was a “slut” for wanting everyone else to pay for her birth control has press abuse victim Bristol Palin wondering “Where’s my phone call?”
In a post on her blog that I had never heard of until this morning, Palin wonders why Obama’s concern doesn’t extend to her after she and her family have been treated horribly by political commentator Bill Maher, who recently donated $1,000,000 to the Super PAC dedicated to Obama’s reelection.
Dear President Obama,
You don’t know my telephone number, but I hope your staff is busy trying to find it. Ever since you called Sandra Fluke after Rush Limbaugh called her a slut, I figured I might be next. You explained to reporters you called her because you were thinking of your two daughters, Malia and Sasha. After all, you didn’t want them to think it was okay for men to treat them that way:
[H]ere’s why I’m a little surprised my phone hasn’t rung. Your $1,000,000 donor Bill Maher has said reprehensible things about my family. He’s made fun of my brother because of his Down’s Syndrome. He’s said I was “f—-d so hard a baby fell out.” (In a classy move, he did this while his producers put up the cover of my book, which tells about the forgiveness and redemption I’ve found in God after my past – very public — mistakes.)
The longer any argument goes on, the more likely the liberals are to lose it. They lost the gun control debate, and they’re losing the abortion debate. It’s not only because they’re wrong, it’s mostly because liberalism is based on pure emotion, and emotion wears off after a while, leaving you with only facts to examine.
It’s also because they are hypocrites who are famous for accusing the right of things that they clearly and obviously do to a greater extent themselves.
