Abortion Enthusiast Group Bankrolls Frequent Election Victim Boockvar

Kathy Boockvar, the Democrat frequent election victim who is challenging Mike Fitzpatrick for the 8th district Congressional seat in November, apparently finds sufficient joy in the prospect of killing unborn babies to have caught the eye of abortion enthusiasts EMILY’s List.

EMILY’s list, known for backing mostly the furthest left of abortion cheerleading women candidates, announced that they will be funding Boockvar’s failed candidacy. That ought to play well in a slightly right-leaning district that was recently gerrymandered to be more Republican. What’s the matter, tone deaf Bucks Democrats? Was Soros unavailable to come and speak on Kookvar’s (Give me a break – I’m still working on it) behalf?

“We are proud to put a strong leader like Kathy ‘On the List,’ ” Stephanie Schriock, president of EMILY’s List, stated in a press release.

EMILY’s list has about as much innocent blood on its hands as Planned Parenthood.

I don’t really understand why Democrats seem to think that abortion is an issue that will bring home this district for them. I received pro-abortion materials on behalf of Patrick Murphy at least once a week for a good part of the campaign in 2010. Even if I was a strong pro-choice person, who the hell was paying attention to social issues in the general election?

Given the new district lines, this seems like a monumentally bad strategy if she’s getting on board with making this a key platform in her campaign.

I believe the Democrats’ strategy is “Fitzpatrick is retiring in 2016 and we can wait it out.” How else would you explain running someone whose claim to fame is, literally, being unable to win even a gimme election? This is a woman who would lose the “Who should take out the trash” election in her own house. A majority of any electorate would write in someone else rather than vote for her.

On the bright side, at least she’s really photogenic.
